Strategic planning

Sports organisations operate in a dynamic environment that is constantly changing. With competition for resources and participants intensifying, shared understanding and commitment amongst your stakeholders towards a desired future is an essential prerequisite for success.

An effective planning process can provide this shared vision by helping you determine and focus on what is truly important for your sport.

The 'Strategic Planning - Development and Delivery' seminar was designed for people who are involved, or will be involved, with leading or participating in planning. It was provided by Helen Emmerson (Emmerson Group) and Brad Edwards (SPARC) in the 2006 seminar programme.
