The Knowledge Library

The Knowledge Library, funded and developed by SPARC and the Ministry of Health, describes New Zealand based research on physical activity, nutrition, obesity, sports, including sport and exercise science, and physical recreation from the year 2000 onwards.

The Knowledge Library provides access to a single source, comprehensive, free, user-friendly, avenue for research and evaluation information and has three searchable sections - Research, Projects and Funders.

  • Research includes articles, book chapters, reports, conference proceedings, and theses. Where available, links to full text are provided.
  • Projects has descriptions, contact details and funding information for projects related to nutrition, physical activity and obesity, and sport and recreation.
  • Funders has contact details and information on areas of interest for funders of nutrition, physical activity and obesity, and sport and recreation related activities.

To access the Knowledge Library click on to the Research Tab on the Healthy Eating - Healthy Action portal.

To search the Knowledge Library go to the SEARCH box at the top right corner of the page.
