Benefits and responsibilities of SPARC recognition

Benefits of SPARC Recognition:
  • Recognised organisations may have access to resource and investment;
  • Contact details listed on SPARC website;
  • Government-mandated recognition; and,
  • Inclusion on mailing lists for key sector information such as Partner Updates (a monthly newsletter keeping partners informed and up to date) and Relay (a regular compilation of topical information and research).
Responsibilities of Recognised Organisations

All recognised organisations must submit the following on an annual basis to maintain their recognition status:

  • Annual audited accounts;
  • Any changes to your organisation’s constitution;
  • Any changes to your anti-doping policy;
  • Evidence-based membership data, including clubs and individual members;
  • Any changes to an organisation’s status as an incorporated society or a charitable trust (as may apply); and,
  • Any changes to its organisational structure.
