Implementation

The No Exceptions Strategy and Implementation Plan is intended to guide the whole sector in its provision of recreation and sport opportunities and environments for all people.

The responsibility for implementation falls within the scope of many organisations, who have expressed an interest and willingness to contribute to this plan's success.

Achieving the outcomes will only be possible through the commitment of partners within the disability sector, disability sport organisations, and sport and recreation providers.

SPARC is one agency only, and will take a lead in many areas - specifically, where it can make its current sector interventions and activities inclusive. Other agencies will need to take their share of the lead, recognising the significant benefits to be had from getting all New Zealanders participating in the sport and recreation activities of their choice.
