Wellington - Push Play Outreach

Objectives and performance targets


The core objective of Push Play Outreach is to provide affordable and accessible recreation opportunities to the community in their backyard.

There are five programme outcomes and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for each of these. The structure is designed to avoid complexity and to provide measurable outcomes.

Outcome: Create a strong regional partnership with local recreation and physical activity providers.
KPI: Evidence that new partnerships with local recreation providers have been established.

Outcome: Push Play Hubs developed in three local community settings.
KPI: Three Push Play Hubs established and operating by 30 June 2007.

Outcome: Increased physical activity provision.
KPI: Provide Push Play trailers to at least 60 groups and organisations per year.

Outcome: Provision of event support.
KPI: 12 events supported

Outcome: Up skill relevant community stakeholders.
KPI: Six training sessions per year facilitated.
