NZRU and New Zealand Government form Establishment Board to prepare for RWC 2011

The New Zealand Rugby Union and the New Zealand Government today announced the formation of an Establishment Board, which will undertake the initial planning for New Zealand to host Rugby World Cup 2011.
The Board includes two NZRU representatives, Chairman Jock Hobbs and Chief Executive Chris Moller, and two representatives of the Crown, SPARC Chairman John Wells and Alan Isaac, Chairman of KPMG. John Wells was also a member of the RWC 2011 Bid Advisory Committee and Alan Isaac is a Director of New Zealand Cricket.
Jock Hobbs will be the Chairman of the Establishment Board.
Two independent Board members will be appointed in due course.
The Establishment Board will oversee the initial planning and preparations for RWC 2011 until the formation of a permanent tournament management vehicle in 2006.
